Tiles That Tell Stories: Aleksandra Żeromska’s Whimsical World of Królik

In a world where mass-produced design often lacks soul, Polish artist and designer Aleksandra Żeromska breathes life into ceramics with her imaginative brand, Królik. Combining traditional craftsmanship with playful artistry, Królik’s tiles transform spaces into realms of joy and wonder.

Królik, meaning both “rabbit” and “little king” in Polish, is the brainchild of Aleksandra Żeromska, who serves as the creative director and designer for all collections. Collaborating with Kaflarnia Karny, one of Central Europe’s oldest tileworks, Żeromska infuses the brand with a fresh, contemporary spirit while honoring centuries-old ceramic traditions.

The brand’s debut collections, “New Eden” and “Happiness,” showcase a vibrant array of hand-pressed tiles and wall sculptures. “New Eden” invites viewers into a lush, imagined paradise filled with majestic animals and verdant flora, while “Happiness” celebrates symbols of love and joy through charming motifs like rabbits and hearts.

By marrying the tactile richness of glazed ceramics with a bold, imaginative design language, Królik offers more than just decorative elements—it provides a canvas for personal expression and a touch of enchantment in everyday spaces.
